Samsung SmartTV subtitles problem

Oct 22, 2013 8:51PM PDT

Hello,

I have Samsung TV, F6270, and when I use AllShare to broadcast a movie to the TV, the Arabic subtitles are not displayed properly.

I tried to change the encoding of the subtitles file but it did not work. It looks that the TV itself does not support some languages.
Is there any workaround other than embedding the subtitles in the movie ?

Thanks

True. Here's the common workaround.

Google HARDSUB to embed the subtitles or use another player.

hardsub will not solve the problem.
it just add the subtitles to the video without burning it.
also, i don't want to burn the subs with video as it takes long time and the quality of the resulted video will not be as the source.

Why won't hardsub solve this one?

I've used it too many times and this would be a first. That is unless you are not writing it won't solve but that you don't want to use it.
