Question

Samsung Smart TV, YouTube App problems

Dec 23, 2014 4:59AM PST

I recently purchased a 55" TV, Model UN55H7150AFXZA to replace a model from Samsung from a couple years ago.

The old model I had, the Youtube app worked fine in the same location. Basically I think that location is not a problem. It is less than 8 ft from the wireless router.

The problem with the TV app is that the videos crash and freeze, then it shoots me back to the home screen. I've tried factory resets and that seems to help the problem for about a week. Then the problem starts again. This is the only app that consistently gives me issues.

Anything to try besides factory resets?

Since it's new.

Swap it at the store for another. If this model is not working then change models.

Here I turn off Smart Hub and use Roku or something else. Sam, I really think you've had long enough to address your apps and system.

Hello Jgalon04,

I'm sorry to hear this! Do you have any transaction numbers that you can post for us? Also, Is this the only application that is experiencing theses symptoms? (i.e. Netflix, Amazon, ect.)
