Question

Samsung Smart TV UE32H4510 nightmare

Jul 29, 2015 5:41PM PDT

I just need some help (and this is not easy for me to ask) ... because I'll go crazy otherwise. The situation is like this:

Model Code: Samsung UE32H4510
Software Version: T-MST14DEUC-2750.3
Sub-micom Version: T-MST14DEUS-1010
Apps Version: JHCPH5RIVM44e
Falsh Memory: 110 mb used
Country: GB

And now here comes the fun part:
1: Samsung account and apps settings in Smart Hub settings are grey'd out. Don`t know the cause ... could of been that it needed a firmware upgrade ... Done that as you can see from the info above and still have the same identical problem.
2: Self diagnosis on the smart hub connection test passes the DNS (google DNS or default) settings check, the ISP blocking check (it's in DMZ for this test anyway) but failed on the Samsung apps panel test with (ERR08002)
3: The browser is the only app I can use (no other apps in the hub)... partially .. because it to crashes (any website I tried) and says to restore last session (last session being google.com) but crashes again .. and again ... and again ...
4: No type of reset (any of the 3 or 4 that exist) fixes any issue .. not even the hard factory reset performed from the hidden startup menu (4 key remote combo)

Could anyone please shed some light onto this ... before i throw the "smart tv" out the window?

Answer
That sounds like Samsung server issues.

Call them and ask. Samsung has strangely kept service (server) status mum. Someday they will publish such on their own site but not yet.

If this is a new set, tell your seller it's coming back.

What is the 4 key remote combo you have tried?

None. Why?

Service modes and codes can brick TVs so I never have written about them. If I did and someone bricked a TV they would be very cross with me. I'd rather have folk upset about me not writing about codes than swearing at me about the code.
