Just wanted to get this out there, I got a Samsung 50 in smart tv and the screen popped out of the side edge plastic. A very odd thing and nothing that I would have ever anticipated. The tv is brand new, never been used. I contacted Samsung and their customer service felt that a screen popping out of the edge is not a defect and I needed to prove it was. I am a samsung buyer. (All my TVs) never ever had a problem. Not only did he not ask to see if I am a samsung user, he was perfectly okay with me buying competitor products and never buying samsung again. Very sad customer service experience. So basically he said I am out of luck unless I can prove how a screen popping out of the side panel is a defect. I did let him know I would go ahead and get my experience out there and he said that it wasn’t right as he is a consumer and I haven’t proven it was a defect on their tv. So as promised... here is my post! It’s a small thing but at least I felt I could do something.
