Question

Samsung Smart TV Internet Connection

Apr 15, 2017 6:32PM PDT

Hi!

We have watched Netflix on our TV for quite a while now, but we are suddenly getting error messages, such as, "MAC address unknown". There is also a red X between the TV and the dots to the Internet picture when we view the network.

The DNS connection shows all zeros and when we go through the network settings, wireless... it won't connect. It circles back to the same screen.

Suggestions?

Answer
The MAC address issue is known by Samsung.

Usually means a board replacement. Call it in and if they don't know, you have a new support person. Persist.

It's not even 6 months old, so that stinks. I appreciate you letting me know.
