DLNA is a rocky road with so many issues that you count yourself lucky if it works. Since HDMI works, that's one way until you have time to put the videos on some DLNA server that plays well with the Samsung.

Hi
I'm really stuck and need some help. I have a Samsung 3DTV UE55F8000 smart tv and cannot get to watch videos filmed from my new HD camcorder.
If I connect the camcorder to the tv using a hdmi cable I can see the movies fine, if I try to connect via the DLNA it just comes up file not supported for all videos that are MP4 and MTS, if won't even view the photos that are jpeg format.
The new camcorder is a Panasonic HC-W850EB - full HD with wifi and DLNA.
What am I doing wrong? Kind of new to DLNA and any help is appreciated.
Thanks
Bev
