Question

Samsung Smart TV Connected to Network but Not Internet

Apr 19, 2015 9:18AM PDT

I have a Samsung Smart TV that has been working fine for about a year. All of a sudden, I cannot access any of my apps and I keep getting an error message telling me that I'm connected to the network, but cannot connect to the Internet. My ISP is Comcast and I've tried changing the DNS to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. and that's not working.
DNS server is currently 75.75.75.75 and Gateway is 192.168.2.1
IP is 192.168.2.105
I have also tried disconnecting my Lyncs modem and reconnecting. Please help!!!

It's Samsung from what we can tell.

Sam really needs to re-design this system.

I'm sorry to hear this! Have you tried using the DNS 4.2.2.1?

Also try unplugging the unit for a full 2 mintues.

Let me know if this helps!

Having Same connect Problem
Apr 22, 2015 11:51AM PDT

I have a PN518000 smart TV that has been working well since purchased some years ago. Today I cannot get to the internet even though I can connect to my local network. All other devices can connect with no problem, including a newer smaller Samsung Smart TV. My only guess is that my 8000 needs a software update since something has changed recently. As a Samsung Brand Ambassador you need to come up with better suggestions than unplugging for 2 minutes. Many people are having this problem and have been for some time now. We need help. Maybe a facebook rant might spur Samsung to take some definitive action.
