But there's a fly in the soup here. Promises are not that solid. You are out 4,000 bucks and it doesn't do what you want. And smart tv maker track records are nothing short of horrible to date.
Get it in writing that this app/feature will arrive in say a few months and if not you get a full refund on return of the set.
i bought a Samsung smart HDTV for my bedroom model UN32H5500AFX around Christmas and was happy with all the apps. I love VEVO which is a music video app. This month I bought another Samsung TV, this time the 4K SUHD JS9500 FXZA which was almost $4,000 and cannot get VEVO from the Samsung apps. When I called tech support they insisted they had this app and it was me not being able to download it on the new tv. I kept telling them I couldn't find it. Then they remotely connected to my TV and tried on their own and of course couldn't get VEVO. Finally, they told me that these new TVs adopt a different browser that at the moment doesn't support VEVO and that I will have to wait until they release new updates before I can start using this app. So I have a $4000 smart TV that's not as smart as the $300 TV made by the same manufacturer. Does this make any sense?
