Samsung sIII galaxy mini

I got an unlocked Samsung Galaxy to use on the Net10 system. I set everything up fine, but cannot sent or receive pictures vis text, nor can I access the internet except via wifi. Net10 customer service gave me instructions to set up an APN, but It still doesn't work. Error message I get for the internet indicates a problem with the DNS or firewall. Anyone else have this problem or any suggestions on fixing it?
