Samsung SGH730 software problem.

Hi.I have a problem with connecting my phone to my pc via USB cable.When I try to install the cd on XP I get a message that the drivers are incompatible with the system but the cd is for xp.when i try winME same thing happens.When I installed the drivers on 98 it worked but whe i tried tu upload an mp3 to m phone the phone would loose a connection withint 2 seconds every time.I have no idea what to do.I had a similar problem with my D500.WHen I tr to install the GPRS modem I have no ports tha I can choose to install so that is another issue.Please help me out guys.What might be the oproblem?
