SAMSUNG SGH-500?

by JONATHAN T / October 10, 2005 7:02 AM PDT

I HAVE A COUPLE QUESTIONS FOR THIS PHONE BEFORE I BUY IT.
FIRST OFF, I HAVE AN APPLE POWERBOOK G4. WILL I BE ABLE TO TRANSFER MY ITUNES SONGS TO THE PHONE, OR WILL I HAVE TO CHANGE THE FORMAT TO MP3, BECAUSE ITUNES SONGS ARE MP4?
AND SECOND IM KIND OF CAUGHT BETWEEN BUYING THE SAMSUNG SGH-E730 OR THE SGH-D500. WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK? ID LOVE TO HEAR YOUR OPINION ON BOTH PHONES AND AN ANSWER TO MY QUESTION. THANKS! :o)

so i just got my samsung d500 about two weeks ago and im obsessed with it. I really really like it

im not really sure about the other phone though, but one of the reasons i bought the d500 was because it was unique in style the other phone looks like an average flip phone.

There are a few little teeny tiny things that get me though about the d500. like you cant fast forward on mps and you cant play it while browsing your phone. no memory slots. it scrathes a little easily. you cant change the keypad browsing nois, but you can change the keypad tone when dialing a number. you cant save on to sim cards just transfer from sim cards.you'll have dual entries if you copy the entries on to the phone.if someone calls and it doesnt have the 1+ the area code it wont show up as a person you have on your phone list. just little things like that.

also i bought mine online and they sent me one from the usa but it was made in india. BTW this fone isnt out in the us nor do i think it will ever be. ne ways they sent me an indian phone basically
it has some indian ringtones which i cant delete since its embedded and it also has indian keypad symbols whichi cant understand. but thats not necessarily a bad thing cuz its different and few people have them

there are wayyyy to many positives about this phone to post here so you can just email me if you want more on my opinion or ill just post again

EVERYTHING ELSE IS AWESOME

there are soooo many aesome fones out there. they just keep designing new ones left to right. but they dont even come out with half of them in the usa so ull have to search for them. but if you go to

http://mobile.softpedia.com/

youll see alot of new phones. its pretty updated and cool to browse through. you'll also see the current phones with most interes (THE SAMSUNG SGH D500 IS AMONG THEM).

ne ways the d500 is cool but now im kinda wanting the d600 cuz it has a fully functional mp3 player and a memory slot not to mention awesome cound quality( best in market) but its a bit much
DAMN!
