Samsung Series 8 Plasma Compatibility

Hi,

I have the Samsung Series 8 Plasma model #PN58B860Y2F and would to know how the setup would work with an the Denon AVR2113CI with audio return channel. The Denon has HDMI 1.4 including support for audio return channel and the television 1.3 without audio return channel support.

Would the AV receiver and television with TiVo require additional cabling?

Hi brownujr,

Unfortunately, you won't be able to use ARC because the TV needs to have it in order to work. However, you can use optical out from your TV to do this.
