Samsung Series 6 USB

by qwerty12345qwerty12345 / July 5, 2010 11:31 PM PDT

I have a samsung LCD TV series 6, and on the manual it says that the usb is there to display photos and music only. Is there any way I could watch films with any extention (DiVX, mpeg4...) trough the USB?
thanks

qwerty12345qwerty12345,

Unless the manual states that movies are playable through the USB, the answer will likely be no. If you'd like me to check for you, I'd be happy to do so if you provide the model number for your TV.

qwerty12345qwerty12345,

I looked through the manual, and unfortunately, I don't see any options for video. It looks like music and pictures only are supported. I didn't think it was, but I did want to download the manual from your region and check to make sure.

qwerty12345qwerty12345,

Yes, unfortunately that is correct.

Many of our Blu-Ray players offer that feature, so if you're considering one in the near future, that might be an option to look into. If I can help, let me know.
