I just bought this TV today.I hooked up some AV cables to the bottom most ports (the red, white, and yellow kind of cables.) Then I proceeded to Hook up my PS3. The video was in black and white and found out that only the bottom yellow port thing is in color is there any way to fix this or no?

Composite

ouch3x4,

If the bottom port is only showing in black and white, I might suggest exchanging it. Composite should not be showing black and white pictures when they're supposed to be color.

That said, you'll likely get a better picture if you use component (RBG) or HDMI with your PS3. Composite (yellow, red+white audio) is standard definition, and the PS3 has the ability to pass a much better picture resolution.

I have a similiar problem
Feb 14, 2009 6:45AM PST

I just purchased my 330 LCD and today I hooked up my DVD and Wii to it. I noticed that when the wires hooked into AV1 it works fine, but when you hook up the video cable to AV2 the picture is black and white. I'm using a standard AV cable with two plugs for audio (red and white) and a plug for video (yellow). Is this a problem with the tv? Or should i just purchaset a better video cable for my DVD player?

Thanks for your help.
