Samsung sells defective devices ( Note 5 )!

Oct 20, 2015 1:49PM PDT

Samsung sells defective products( Note 5 ), incompetent technicians, inadequate and limited customer service. Unwillingness to replace defective equipment, would rather hassle customer with 11 day repair service for a phone that practically is an appendage for every customer that uses one. Never ever have I heard of such poor customer service for any other product I've purchased before. If I had purchased this phone with my American Express card I would have refused the payment. I've owned the phone now for nearly 2 months (8/30 - 10/20), it's worked approximately, 3 weeks in that time. The rest of the time Samsung has had it in for repair on 3 different occasions, once at Houston, TX service center and twice in Plano, TX service center. Absolutely the worst customer experience ever! I deserve a working device for my money!

Sorry to hear that

I have had an easier time getting replacement phones in similar situation when dealing with Apple products. Even their OOWS (out of warranty service) can be a blessing when you can no longer sit around and wait for the phone to be diagnosed.

Plus, the AMEX payment would have given you an extra year of extended warranty at no extra charge AFAIK (if this policy is still active).

Sorry to hear of your product issues

I have used Samsung products for years and never once had an issue with quality or service support.

I understand that you did have a major issue and were not satisfied with your experience and I am sorry to hear that. Not everyone has had the same experience that you did have. I think your assessment of Samsung as a company is a bit unfair from my personal experience.
