Keep in mind this is not a TV repair forum as no TV techs seem to reply.
That in mind the usual is if I'm the tech I get the Service Manual from www.samsungparts.com and follow the diagnostic advice. More at http://www.shopjimmy.com/tv-repair-tips
I picked up this tv for free just because. It has an issue when plugged in, the screen flicks on to some lines and a "punch" spot on the screen where the power cord plugs in on the back. I'm not sure how to post a picture on here but think I can share it on Google photos. Does anyone know what problem this is and if it is repairable or relatively inexpensive. It's a 55" Samsung tv, buying a brand new one would cost too much for me now so just wondering on repair.
