Samsung SCH - i535

Hi, I want to ask some question about my Samsung SCH - i535. This is a Verizon version, bought from England and I'm a Malaysian. I cannot use mobile data in Malaysia even the mobile data is available. And i535 must use Verizon Sim card to activate the mobile data?

To move a phone around like seems to follow a story I hear over and over. it's more than getting a SIM. Often you have to go to the carrier's service counter for them to change a setting or try another SIM.

Sorry, no, I don't have a direct answer but this story repeats a lot.
