If it was working before and you're now noticing a loose connection, that may be the issue. Is the device showing up as an option in the PC?
If not, I would recommend calling 800-SAMSUNG or filling out an online service form to have your unit repaired.

Owned this camcorder about a year. Did a lot of uploading to YouTube with it. Just recently ,,,my PC is not recognizing it. Does not import to the PC. I tried all the other USB ports and cords. Still, no luck. Im stumped. Not firewall problem. Just tonite...I noticed the Camcorder USB port is slighty loose. Not real bad. When plugged in with to the PC...screen still say USB Is Connected. Just not getting thru the pc. Im frustrated. Nice cam..and not that old.
