Samsung s7 edge 128 GB SD card issues

Sep 3, 2016 11:07PM PDT

I have purchased S7 edge around 45 days back and I was using the phone memory storage as main storage. Very rarely I was using the SD storage. 3 days back when I was trying to access the SD storage it was not visible at all. When I tried to ask the customer service they are saying that It was not their issue. They only issue the replacement for 7days from the purchase.
Really, Do they have mind which SD card will corrupt in 7 days?
I am totally disappointed. I will be recommending all my friends not to go with Samsung. This is last one I will be purchasing from Samsung. I really got annoyed. Even a local brands are better than this guys.

Your issue......

.....is really with the SD card manufacturer and not Samsung in this case. Your anger sounds misplaced to me. Samsung will not replace your SD card sold under a different brand name. I am not sure why you are convinced Samsung is to blame. SD cards are often the first thing to fail and not the phone itself in all likelihood.

I agree.

Samsung can't control cards added later. It's part of the reason Apple has not seen fit to add this feature.

There's also a very important step most folk don't do for phones, tablets and cameras. My advice is to always format the card in the phone, tablet or cameras when it's new. Otherwise you may not get the best chance at trouble free operation.

Not to mention there are a lot of fake memory cards out there.

Your anger is misplaced.
