Samsung s4 mini WiFi issues

Aug 15, 2013 5:11AM PDT

Hey everybody,

I am a new owner of a Samsung s4 mini smartphone and today is the third day I am trying to fix my wifi problem.

So, to start...

I don't have any WiFi router at home, I have an ethernet LAN cable, and I use connectify (also tried other programs as well) to create a wireless net.

My phone but somehow have a problem to stay connected more than 30 seconds.

I tried the "dial 0011" fix, also updated my realtek and broadcom drivers on my laptop, so now it is a little bit better but it ALWAYS disconnects me and a few seconds latter reconnects me.

Some ideas? TY Happy

Break down and get a router

This will be the true 'fix' for your problem. Understand, your solution is quite often only 'voodoo' to get all the various devices to play nice on your ad hoc wireless network. Even a cheap $5 linksys router from a garage sale is a superior solution to what you are doing now.

Did you try it with a router?

As a test, try the s4 at free hotspots. If those work, a router should fix this.
