samsung s4 (disgusted by samsung)

Jan 19, 2015 8:17PM PST

Have or maybe I should say had a Samsung s4 as one day battery got really hot and whilst trying to remove it dropped the phone and it's cracked the board ...Samsung have no interest in helping with getting repaired unless I pay for the repair ...a phone that would not of been damaged if not for a fault they knew about and did nothing....wondering if anyone else has had the same problem with Samsung? Probably be the last Samsung item I will ever have ....

You mean to say that Samsung knew that the board could crack if you dropped the phone while trying to remove the battery and did deliberately choose to keep the design that way in stead of making it drop-proof in such circumstances. It's a shame, isn't it?

Not saying that but as they knew about the problem why did they not recall the phones? After all I would not have dropped the phone if I had not been trying to get a hot battery out ....they clearly know about the problem as when I phoned and complained they sent me a new battery ..which is all good and well but no good when the phone does not work...
