Question

Samsung remote app no longer in itunes???

Dec 16, 2012 1:51AM PST

Why Samsung removed "Samsung remote app" application from the itunes and which one can replace it? I tried to find anything but there was nothing out there which could give me ability to move cursor in my browser(moving it by samsung remote control is a nightmare, i wish it had a lg wii like remote) or enter text in the browser by qwerty keyboard(url for example)...

BTW. I have an iphone...

Any idea/advice???

That application is accessible in iTunes either... I'm from Canada, not sure if that is the reason why it's not there???

Such things can be region dependent. It chaffs many that in some country an app or thing could infringe on a patent or other area in dispute and can't be offered there.

I'm in the USA and lived in Canada for years and it was a hoot as I bumped into issues like this. And that's not even considering the ongoing legal fracas.
