Samsung QX LAPTOP LONG LIFE (HA HA) BATTERY

Samsung QX Laptop. On my second battery in a year. Laptop manufactured in July 2011. this is the second battery to not hold a charge and you have to SEND IT TO TEXAS TO GET IT REPLACED. Worst purchase decision I have ever made.

AND it's touted as being one of the longer lasting batteries.

Sounds like the battery extender is turned on.

" battery only charges to 80 percent
the battery will only charge to 80 percent. and some times it will say there is 49 percent battery left then 20 mins later it willl say to plug it in

There is a setting in the "samsung control center" in the General tab "Battery life extender". It says that an 80% charge will extend the battery life. "

I have a few Samsung's with this and battery wear looks to be much less with this turned on but you should see low battery times unless you turn it off.
