Samsung Q10 video camera

Oct 22, 2011 11:53PM PDT

I have bought a Samsung Q10 video camera which I am very pleased with, and the software that came with it. My problem is I have a number of old videos taken with an old camera which used MPG the new Q10 video camera and software uses MP4. I have tried to find some software that will convert the MPG to MP4 so I can use the software on my old videos. I have download a number of converters that convert MPG to MP4 but the software that came with the camera will not recognize the converted files Any one know about some software converter that the software will recognize

1. MEDIAINFO to inspect audio video encoding.
2. HANDBRAKE to convert to MP4.

Both are free without watermarks or nagware.
