Oct 27, 2010 12:25AM PDT

I've recenetly bought this Tv and set it up today, This small problme is driving me crazy. The picture looks like a Theatre play, very weird, I had this with old samsung series 6 46" and i can;t remember what i did to turn it off. I think its the motion plus but can;t find anywhere on any menus to turn it off
Please Help?

DPrtp,

Try adjusting the Film Mode in the TV's menu. Does that help?

Not sure what you mean change to? Do you mean the Standard, Dynamic, Custom etc options...If so this does not change it. I;m sure its the Hz problem? But the menu is now different from my series 6 46", and i can't seem to find the right menu at all.
Cheers

DPrtp,

It should be in the Picture menu, although I am looking at the U.S. version of the manual.

MENU > Picture > Picture Options > (scroll down) Film Mode

If that doesn't fix it, try to change the output of your source and see if that helps.

DPrtp,

Glad to hear it worked out. I didn't see a smoothing option in the menu (and maybe it's called something different in U.S. sets). What menu was that under? Do you recall? I'd like to keep that information in case someone else needs help.

Thanks!
