The picture problems - are they on all inputs, or just one? And the menu is also affected with that?
I would definitely have that issue inspected by a qualified technician.
If the sound delay is uniform with every HD channel, it's likely an issue with the TV. If it's only happening on certain channels, that may indicate an issue with the broadcasting signal, and if that's the case, you may need a delay on your receiver.
Changing channels may take a while, especially with HD channels.
My TV has problems.
Since new, any dark blue colors get a pasty green blotch through them, which comes from the top of the screen and it is far worse on the left hand side than the right.
Looks really bad in dark scenes, night skies, even when in the TV's own menu screens.
There is heavy banding or posterisation especially in skin tones and anything with a tonal gradient, when the camera pans or subject moves.
The sound is out of sync. I can not use the optical out to my receiver as the sound is so out of sync makes it unwatchable, which means I can not use it to watch High Def TV, I am stuck with using my Set Top Box, or the crap built in speaker.
If I use the set top box, there is a slight sync issue between the tv speaker and the receiver speakers. Turn the TV speaker off and you dont notice it... THAT much.
It takes about 5 seconds to change station with the built in tuner, makes channel surfing during ad breaks unbearable.
Are these common problems?
Or have I got a Dud?
