Samsung Programme Guide slow to load

My samsung 42" programme guide is really slow to load. First thing, it would be good if you could make it show favourite channels only, second it just takes forever to load.

I have a PVR which is visible the moment you press the guide button, so it mustnt have anything to do with reception.

Does anyone know if there is a firmware update or something else I can do to fix this?
