Question

Samsung power cord - UA40EH5300

Apr 25, 2015 10:00AM PDT

I have a Samsung TV model UA40EH5300, and need a new power cord. Can I use a UN40EH5300 power cord for my TV? The model I have is a multi-system TV (NTSC, PAL, SECAM). Thanks.

I can't imagine it being special.

Multi-system TV

Does it matter if my TV is multi-system (NTSC, PAL, etc.)? Basically I want to use a power cord for a US model TV (UN40EH5300) on my UA tv.

It has to only match the set and mains. If your set is however 110V only, you could be in deep trouble if you plugged it into a common UK mains.

power cord

The set is "AC100-240V ~ 50/60Hz 89W". The cord I want to use is "DT,UL/CSA,LP-11L,125V,5A".

So the cord is 125V, which looks like it will match tv. I live in the Dominican Republic, which is 110~120V.

Does that sounds like it will work?

Thanks!
