Samsung PN60E8000GFXZA cracked screen

Jan 26, 2014 10:56AM PST

I purchased this TV after months of debating on paying over $2200 for a TV. The TV lasted 2 months!! I am heartbroken and outraged after Best Buy would not stand behind this purchase after assuring me everything is covered under the warranty. I was skeptical on buying a Plasma in the first place but had bought other Samsung TV and products. I contacted Samsung customer service and still have received no response. Im frustrated and feel ripped off. I had the TV on Pandora and suddenly music stopped, I went to check it out and the screen was blank and there was a crack...yes just like the other thousands of complaints listed on this site. Best buy claimed physical damage but its ridiculous I was the only one home and not even in the room. I am outraged and I am owed a working television or my money back.

I am looking into the open class actions in this regard and will be contacting the BBB.

Hi nhkristin,

I am very sorry for your experience thus far. If you would send your name, model number, and serial number to qasupport@sea.samsung.com I would like to see what I can do.

Cracked screen

I am having the same problem. I'm dealing with best buy and after over a month they are telling me it is possible it overheated but a cracked screen trumps a overheating problem on warranties. Unbelievable because The overheating caused it. They claim I am the first to ever complain of the issue. Can I ask what happened in your attempt to reconcile the problem?
