Samsung pn605300 facial distortion

by skyhawk7272 / March 28, 2014 8:12 PM PDT

Hello, I am new to the whole large high def tv scene. But I have noticed that if I watch a bluray movie that if there is a scene where the actors faces are zoomed in on that the face will distort. Its like an eye will strectch, or half their face will move around a little. But if I watch a pixar movie such as monsters university the picture is perfect. I dont know if there is something wrong with my tv, or the bluray or if thats just the down side of 1080? I have the BD-E5400 bluray player hooked up to pn60f5300afxza connected by hdmi cable.
Thanks for any help!!

I'd call it in for a fast answer but for me I turn off all motion processing (varies with model so I defer to Samsung) to see if that's it.

Yeah, I called them on Saturday. They had me unplug the bluray player and plug it back it while it was on. Ironically it seemed to help alot! I also turned the pixel shift way down on the tv, so Im not sure which actually worked. Im gonna keep an eye on it and if it happens any more I am going to call them to figure it out!!
