Question

Samsung PN51E450A1F Plasma TV

Sep 11, 2015 10:59AM PDT

Recently my tv went out. No power at all, not even a stand by indicator. I was told it was the power supply board. So I purchased a new power supply board but it still does the same thing. No power, and no stand by red indicator light. What's going on here?

Answer
Get back to that person that said it was the power supply

While it's a good guess what if the power cable was gone or the button board power on button was gone?

Already googled this issue to death. There's nothing out there about this tv model and/or situation. But thanks for the useless information though.

That is, you need to get a tech on site to figure it out. I see a lot of folk lashing out that techs can't diagnose in forums for free.

I have a few parting bits of advice.

1. Change that power cord.
2. If you don't know what part it is, change the cheapest part first.

No. I can't know what it is. It's not on my lab bench.
