550 vs 650 plazma
Feb 21, 2009 9:58AM PST

I just bought a series 5 37"samsung lcd 2 months ago, after studying them for weeks. The series 6 has 120hz for less blurring of an object in motion, which I think is unnoticeable. The other big differences I noticed were between between plazma and lcd. The plazma uses more power (watts) and is heavier than my lcd (only 32 lbs), thats why I bought an lcd. On the best buy site online you can check mark and compare differences. Also I found mine online at newegg.com for a couple of hundred cheaper than stores and free shipping to my door.
Hope this helps. J

Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it. Did you only compare LCD vs. Plasma or did you comapre Plasma vs. Plasma as well? I think I'm set on plasma because of price and just trying to determine which one.

Few differences....

seandavis15,

The two main differences between the panels is that the A650 has an extra HDMI input, and it also supports InfoLink (free News, Stocks, Weather) via an RSS internet connection.

I hope that helps.
