Samsung Plasma screen flashing

I have a Samsung HP-S4253 and this issue started yesterday after almost 3 years of no issues with my plasma tv.

When I turn it on, the screen flashes with all the colors but not in a way to correctly display a clear image. It is like all the plasma pixels are confused and flashing different colors on and off and in no order. It is like a Kaleidoscope of flashing colors. This will occur no matter what the source is such as STB or blu-ray player.

Unfortunately the warranty is 2 years with AMEX and therefor expired.

Has anyone experienced or seen this sort of issue before? Thanks
