All the units I encountered (not a Samsung exclusive issue) had BAD CAPS. Google BAD CAPS to see the plague and pictures and why it happened. Again, not a Samsung exclusive. And yes, change that board.

I have a Samsung Plasma FPT-5084 and I have had to change out the fuses 3 times and on the 3rd time I discover that the fuse holder was cracked and partly melted. I was thinking about buying a whole new power board but I have found that there is a REV 2 and I was wondering if this new revision will take care of the fuse blowing issue. Does anyone have any knowledge of this?
