Samsung Plasma PN50A550S1FXZA - Clicking

I'm having the same issue with my plasma tv that many are having with their Samsung LCDs. Plasma unit is turning on and off eventually getting various forms of a distorted colored screen. It seems to occur on a cold start-up after the tv has been powered off for a while. I called Samsung and they will not do a goodwill service repair. Rep stated that although there are service alerts with the same problem,however, PN50A550S1FXZA is not on that list. A TV should last beyond three years. I will not buy another samsung tv again.

No set I see has much more than the one year warranty and the BAD CAPS issue exists in all makers so far.

I can only hope the BAD CAPS debacle is one that folk will ask for longer warranties.
