rmtobiasr1962,

It sounds a bit like a service issue. But is this happening on all inputs, or just with specific devices, like a cable/sat box, game console, etc?

It happens regardless of what is being used- xbox, cable box, blue ray, tv- it doesn't matter. It is just a thin green vertical line that appeared a few days ago and remains no matter how long we have the tv on. Any ideas?

rmtobiasr1962,

Assuming no damage occurred to the screen (such as an impact), it may likely be one of the boards inside. Without being able to inspect it, it's difficult to give a proper diagnosis. I'd recommend getting someone who can look inside your unit to give you a better idea of what could be causing the issue. 800-SAMSUNG can dispatch a local repair person, or you could choose one in your area as well.
