You may be in the window to register your television online, and get an additional 3 months coverage for doing so.
My guess is that one of the internal PCB boards is malfunctioning (the panel itself is likely okay). But that's just a shot in the dark as far as "guessing" goes.
Warranty issues are handled on a case-by-case basis through 800-SAMSUNG.

When I first turn on my TV, while it's cold, I get colored snow around the whole display. The TV is still usable during this time, it just looks blurry because the picture is being randomly interrupted with this colored snow. It seems as if random pixels will change color from red/blue/green. The TV is barely out of warranty (Isn't that how it always is???) and I haven't even paid the thing off yet. Can anyone take a guess as to what is wrong, and how I could possibly get Samsung to honor their warranty when it is only 3 months out?
