I've been trying to figure out, if the Samsung P2770HD monitor with tuner is ready for the mpeg4 signal - can anybody with surefire knowledge help me?

I'm not quite sure what you're looking for here, since MPEG4 compatibility would tend to suggest that this monitor supports direct USB connection for Flash or Hard Drives. Unfortunately, the P2770HD does not have the Samsung "ConnectShare" feature (found on many other Samsung displays, such as the T27A300/550 Series) which would allow such connections directly. With that in mind, MPEG4 support is within the connected source and "not" the monitor. So you need to make sure your Blu-ray Player, computer, gaming console can support the media codecs of the files you intend to play back on the display.

Samsung's T27A300/550 Series LED monitors have ConnectShare (which supports MPEG4) and Picture-in-Picture.

I hope that helps.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
