General discussion

Samsung or Sandisk

Ok- I have read through a lot of discussions but I'm still not clear which MP3 player will best meet my needs. I plan to use at the gym- both MP3 player and strong receiver for gym tv stations.
1. Strong FM reciever with presets.
2. Size 512 or 1GB
3. Line in to connect to the line out from my sony car stereo.
4. Workout friendly- armband included would be nice. Not huge in physical size.
5. Good Sound- are they all equal? I heard about SRS WOW on some players?

I have looked at Samsung and Sandisk because they have presets but I look forward to any suggestions you have. Thanks!

I vote for Sandisk

I think the audio output of the Sandisk is higher than the Samsung, or at least the reviews I have read about the Samsung complain about slightly lower than ideal volume. I would go with Sandisk because its cheaper and it supports Napster to Go type subcriptions. You can get a 2GB Sandisk for the price of a 1GB Samsung.
