And the better screen was worth the few dollars more than another model. I think the pen has a range sensor to make the tablet vibrate or beep when the pen is too far away. Cool idea.

I've decided to purchase my first tablet. I love my Samsung smartphone so I decided to stick with Samsung.
I've been looking at the Note 8, My concern is this: I care nothing about the ability to take notes. I'm looking at the Note 8 primarily due to its higher screen resolution and faster processor. Would I be spending money for capability I don't want or need? Would the S Pen be nothing more than an annoyance that will probably get lost? Would I be better served by a different product?
