Question

Samsung Note 4 wont turn on

Jan 1, 2016 8:45PM PST

I connected my samsung phone to my laptop via usb cord because i was setting up GOOGLE PHOTOS and wanted to back up the photos on my phone. During the upload process my phone has crashed and i CAN NOT get it to turn back on. Has anyone else experienced this. Any idea what to do? Samsung have no solutions and im going to be out of pocket because they want me to send it back for a service. Interestingly i know its charging because the phone is warm. but I just cant get it to turn on

try the following

Press and hold the Volume Up, Power and Home buttons until you see the Samsung logo and the phone vibrates. Release the Power button and continue to hold the other two.

are you able to get to the recovery mode screen?

While I might try another battery and the resets noted here and on the web it sounds like it's dead. Hope it's in warranty.

oem cable

are you using the cable that came with the phone? open the case back and pull the battery, then reinsert it and see if it helps. also when it gets hot, is the actual phone or the battery?
