Samsung note 3, unable to send & receive text.

I just upgraded from IPhone 3GS (AT&Tcarrier) to The Galaxy Note 3 (also AT&T carrier ) My Internet and calling work fine but am not able to send or receive text messages.

...spoken with customer service yet ?? Possible that the text msg feature may not be setup properly. Call from another device and not the Note 3, but have it nearby for troubleshooting.
