Question

Samsung new Smart TV and web cam

I have a new 2011 Samsung UA46D7000LM LED Smart TV, it has Skype and internet etc etc to use Skype I cannot utilise my Logitech Hi Pro C910 camera, but look like I am forced to use the Samsung CY-STC1100 camera at nearly double the price. Can anyone inform me how I can get the Logitech webcam to work, I assume it's to do with the drivers, if so how can I get them onto the TV?

Unlike a PC

There are no user installable drivers. The camera this unit uses is quite different and yes more expensive.

Thanks for the advice

I bought a CY-STC1100 Samsung Skype Camera, but how do you turn the blue light off, it appears to be on all of the time even when watching TV?, I have a nice users guide book that came with it but, only 2 pages in English that don't tell you much at all?

I didn't find the off setting so I used an old school method

A small piece of black tape.
