Samsung N150 Plus

Feb 21, 2015 10:46PM PST

Hello have this Samsung net book with 1 gb ram and service pack 1,it is still with its factory win 7 starter pack, since today it is working 100 % ok, but sometimes it will nervous me to break it in million pieces,Happy

as it is set to never sleeping, sometimes as I'm not using it ,it become black screen, then I touch the touch pad and screen come again, sometimes is slow on browsing, Google will shut at least 5 or 6 times as it crashes uninstalled it and reinstalled it but the same did factory reset for at least 5 times to try and resolve this issue, but still the same use this net book for browsing and sorting my desktop pc files when I'm not using it, or while I'm away from home,
Can I make a format but not losing my win 7starter original key? How to?
If I make a 2 GB ram can I improve a bit?

That's a slow machine.

If you look at your fast machines you find 4GB and faster CPUs. Net books were a way at the time to deliver a PC for a price. Not much wrong yet. As to the key issue, just make the restore media so you can restore it at any time.

There are low memory distros.

Mostly this is a cosmetic issue and speed of course. Linux may be lighter weight to let you continue to surf and such without adding RAM or fiddling as much.

Your choice. I don't sell Linux as a cureall, just an option.

screen saver

you need to also make sure your screen saver is turned off. go to control panel, display, change screen saver. to get your key, you can download magical jelly bean. https://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder/

as far as google shutting down, are you talking about google chrome. If so, try another browser to see if it has the same issue. also increasing your ram will help.

screen saver is the standard one, yes I have jellybean il check it out,yes its
Google chrome, I re installed it several times, also did factory reset but after at
least 5 tries, it keeps on telling me Google crushed and need to close, after it is
ok, but it don't bother to crash again but what's this issue? I made factory reset
and still the same, consider a format? Where to get win 7 starter and how to?

im going to 2gb ram as well,
