Samsung model # LN-T4665F

My tv takes 30 seconds or longer to turn on. The whole time it makes clicking sounds. When it finally does, the screen has little pink dots. The dots go away when we shut the tv off and power back on.
Any suggestions?

LN-T4665F Repair
by gojasonw / March 23, 2010 11:43 AM PDT

Samsung has acknowledged this issue and is offering repairs. Trouble is they aren't covering all TVs that are affected. I was told that models manufactured between "Oct-07 ~ Jun-08" are the subject of the recall. Mine was manufactured in June 2007 and they will not repair it even though it is clearly the same issue.

Any chance you'll provide the date of manufacture? (Label on back of TV) I'd love confirmation that I'm not the only one with a TV outside the covered range that is affected by this issue.

Well it looks like mine was built in Aug of 07' so you are not alone. This is wrong, just like you said they know there is a problem but will not fix it. I own nothing but samsung tv's (4 lcd's), I own 3 different samsung surround sound systems and two samsung blu-rays.

We should try to find alot of people with this problem and then contact the bbb and see what they say since samsung will not take responsibility.

Let me know your thoughts.... Maybe start buying Sony's.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
