Samsung Media Studio version 5.1.4.3 for my MP3 Player YP-U3

Nov 2, 2010 4:51PM PDT

I installed the Samsung Media Studio to my notebook (windows XP)using the administrator account as instructed but it did not work well.

I then installed the same to my desktop (windows XP) and this time it was working.

1. The instalation wizard at my notebook was in Chinese but at my desktop it was in English.

2. The software on my desktop could detect the album and artist on my music CD but not on my notebook

Could someone advise and help me instal properly on my notebook.

richardwps,

Was the installation performed by the included disc, or downloaded?

There is an update that will move the software from Samsung Media Studio to Emodio, and that may help functionality.

richardwps,

The Help>Update bar at the top of the application should allow you to search for any new updates or software downloads.

Is it possible that Chinese was chosen when the program was installed on the notebook? I'm not sure why the same disc would give two different results when installed.

HDTech,

Tried menu-help-check program update and result was "updates not available now".

When I installed other programs previously the English version of the wizard was used on my notebook therefore I do not think that Chinese was chosen for installing programs.

Anyway I sincerely appreciate your help and advice

Thank you
