Answer
Please unplug this set.

It could be one of the known repairs but continued use can result in an even higher cost repair. Be sure to unplug it and get estimates as this is not consider user serviceable.

Answer
Change caps
by Knauande / February 4, 2014 2:23 PM PST

Hi,
If your tv is from 2006 - 2009 you should change the capacitors on the power board.
Change to caps with low internal resistance. It also a good idea to "step" up in power grading.

Google for "bad capacitors Samsung" and you should get more details for which caps to change.

Good luck Happy
