Samsung LN52A650 120 Hz Question

Feb 17, 2009 1:10PM PST

I just bought this beautiful screen and I have set it up with Auto Motion Plus 120Hz turned on to differrent settings such as low, medium and high. I cannot tell that the set is performing in 120 Hz. When I select Source and select my BlueRay player the screen shows 1920x1080 60 Hz. Why does it not show 120 Hz if it is configured to run 120 Hz?

Thanks

Norf_Norfield,

Welcome to the forum.

The InfoBar that shows the resolution and 60Hz is merely noting the incoming signal from your source.

The panel itself will always display 1080p at 120Hz, and any incoming picture will be upconverted to that.
