Samsung ln52a580p6f Vertical lines in middle of tv HELP

ok so my aunt has a samsung ln52a580p6f tv
its just out of warranty of course.lol
i am pretty good with electronics but dont know much about this TV
It has RED, Blue, Green, white, black, and purple lines going vertical in the middle of the picture. about 6 inches across and run from top to bottom, i have changed out the TCON board but it didnt help, any ideas, i have picture of it if anyone would like to see.

yes it was purchased in US, i just did the registration and it says its out of warranty, so any other ideas? thanks

That tech that changed the TCON board. Let's hope that was someone auth'd by Samsung.

There is that added 3 months warranty so is this inside the 15 months or not?

A autherized samsung repair didnt change board, but he is authorized by other manufactors. so knows what he is doing, also the warranty is up even with the the extra. any other ideas, thanks

While I am an electronics designer those TV techs have far more exposure to repairs than I do. Ask them what next to change.

he wanted me to look at some forums he didnt know for sure, and there are no close samsung repair places within 30-45 mins.

This forum is not visited by tv techs often. We do have a very good ambassador but for repairs we refer back to the techs.

I have the same model, and what appears to be the same problem (vertical band of multicolored lines in the middle of the screen).

Have you found a solution to this problem? Please let me know.
