It's been a few years but Samsung was still cutting the jumper far out of warranty just a few years ago.
Besides that, be sure the firmware is current as well. If you want to try, swap the power supply board.
I have a Samsung LN46D550 and in between scene changes when the screen turns black, the screen will flicker until the scene change finishes. I have noticed that this only occurs when the TV setting is set to Standard or Vivid settings. If the TV is set to Movie the TV does not do this. I expect that it has to do with the setting of the backlight as Movie setting has a much dimmer backlight setting.
I have read a lot about cutting a jumper on these TV's though I cannot find which jumper to cut on this specific model TV. Has anyone had any experience with cutting a jumper to fix screen flicker on this TV?
